The University Hospital Cologne and the Medical Faculty are ofering the position of a
Scientist (f/m/x) for mass spectrometry of small molecules
Working at the University Hospital Cologne and the Medical Faculty means helping to shape the future – the future of medicine, of patients and, of course, your own future. You benefit from 59 clinics and institutes as well as numerous other departments and facilities and more than 10,000 jobs. The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Cologne and the University Hospital Cologne assume important social tasks in research, teaching and patient care. A close network with many university and non-university partners guarantees an internationally successful science and the excellent education of our students.
The “Cluster of Excellence on Cellular Stress Responses in Aging-Associated Diseases” (CECAD) is seeking applications for a full-time
Scientist (f/m/x), field of mass spectrometry of “small molecules”
initially limited until August 1, 2024 within the scope of a parental leave replacement.
The mission of CECAD is to unravel common molecular mechanisms underlying life span regulation and aging-associated diseases in a network between scientists from the University and University Hospital of Cologne and the Max Planck Institutes for the Biology of Aging and for Metabolic Research. The Lipidomics/Metabolomics Facility is one of five CECAD technology platforms and offers a comprehensive service in the field of mass spectrometric analysis of small metabolites to all scientists from the life science campus at the University of Cologne. For joining the team of the CECAD Lipidomics/Metabolomics Facility we are looking for you.
