The “Young Scientists” interest group was founded at the annual DGMS conference in Rostock in March 2019. Our aim is to promote an early networking of young scientists within the DGMS. You can join us if you are a student or your doctorate dates back less than five years (and you do not lead a junior research team).
For more information about us, our activities and on how to join us, please visit www.youngscientists.dgms.eu.

Dear DGMS members, Dear Young Scientists,
due to the current COVID-19 outbreak we decided to cancel the Fall Meeting 2020 in the interest of all participants and to contain the pandemic. This was a difficult decision to make but at this point in time, the development in the next months in Germany and Europe are hard to predict. We ask for your understanding and hope to see you all next year at the DGMS conference in Dortmund and at the Fall Meeting in Hünfeld.
Stay save and see you soon!
On behalf of the Young Scientists speakers,
Fall Meeting 2019
Our annual Fall Meeting is a great platform for networking, socializing and scientific exchange of young researchers in various fields of mass spectrometry. Besides being part of a diverse and interesting scientific program by contributing your own research, you will have the chance to meet experienced researchers and company representatives in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere.
The first Fall Meeting will take place from September 23-25, 2019, in Hünfeld. For more information and for registration (open until July 31, 2019), please visit www.youngscientists.dgms.eu.
