We are pleased to announce the 24th International Mass Spectrometry Conference (IMSC 2022), which will be held from August 27 to September 2, 2022 in Maastricht, The Netherlands. IMSC 2022 is the most important event worldwide for the mass spectrometry community in 2022, attracting colleagues from academia and industry to discuss any topic related to mass spectrometry or its applications.
IMSC 2022 will take place at the Maastricht Exhibition & Congress Centre (MECC). Maastricht is the oldest city in the Netherlands and is located in the very south of the Netherlands, but right in the heart of Europe bordering Germany and Belgium. It is a city of linguistic diversity, partly as a result of its location at the crossroads of multiple language areas and its international student population. With a history going back more than 2,000 years, the Romans, Spaniards, French and Germans have all left their mark in Maastricht. The energy that this generates has resulted in a city that is bursting with creativity, researchers and young innovators.
We are excited to share with you the first of our excellent confirmed plenary speakers:
- Paola Picotti ETH Zürich, Institut für Molekulare Systembiologie, Zürich, Switzerland
- Bernd Bodenmiller University of Zürich, Department of Quantitative Biomedicine and ETH Zürich, Institute for Molecular Health Sciences, Zürich, Switzerland
- Pieternel Levelt National Center for Atmospheric Research, Atmospheric Chemistry Observations & Modeling Laboratory, Boulder, Colorado, US
The conference will cover Mass spectrometry across disciplines including themes such as Instrumentation and methods, Life Sciences & Health, Food and (Bio)Pharma, and Biomaterials.
Looking forward seeing you all in 2022 at MECC Maastricht!
