This Special Interest Group (SIG) serves as a platform for DGMS members and external interested individuals to expand collaborations with scientists from countries with less developed or emerging research infrastructures.
Outreach activities offer diverse opportunities to define new, joint research areas in a cross-country ecological, economic, and not least sociological context and to work on them together long-term. The focus here is on the scientific added value for all participants—and this is done on an equal footing.
The “DGMS-Outreach” SIG aims to promote these activities through information, coordination, networking, and, long-term, by developing its own programs.
