DGMS Young Scientists 4th Fall Meeting
Liebe Mitglieder der DGMS, liebe Young Scientists, es ist wieder soweit – wir freuen uns, das diesjährige Young Scientists Meeting anzukündigen! Die Planungen für das vierte Fall Meeting sind in vollem Gange. Es wird am 18.-20. September 2024 wieder im Kloster Hünfeld stattfinden.
Während der dreitägigen Konferenz soll jungen WissenschaftlerInnen eine Bühne geschaffen werden, um ihre aktuelle Forschung in Form eines Vortrags oder Posters vorzustellen. Die besten Beiträge werden wie jedes Jahr vom Publikum ausgezeichnet. Neben dem wissenschaftlichen und organisatorischen Programm wird es obendrein viel Raum für persönlichen Austausch mit WissenschaftlerInnen und möglichen ArbeitgeberInnen geben. Ein wichtiger Programmpunkt ist außerdem die Wahl eines neuen Sprecherteams.
Der Anmeldezeitraum für das Fall Meeting beginnt im April 2024. Auf der Homepage der DGMS Young Scientists wird am 01. April ein Portal für die Registrierung freigegeben: https://youngscientists.dgms.eu
Es fällt keine Registrierungsgebühr für die Konferenz an. Zimmerreservierung im Kloster Hünfeld erledigen wir für Euch/für Sie! Für eine ganztägige Verpflegung wird gesorgt sein. Die einzigen Kosten, die anfallen werden, sind die Übernachtungskosten im Kloster. Diese werden vor Ort bezahlt und werden sich auf etwa 99 € pro Übernachtungstag belaufen.
Wichtig:
Mitglieder der DGMS können für das Fall Meeting eine Reisekostenbeihilfe im Mitgliederbereich der DGMS-Homepage beantragen, sobald sie von uns eine Zusage für ihren Beitrag erhalten haben. Weitere Details werden wir im Laufe der kommenden Wochen bekannt geben.

the time has come – we are excited to announce this year’s DGMS Young Scientists Meeting! The planning for the fourth Fall Meeting is in full swing. It will take place on September 18-20 2024, once again at the monastery of Hünfeld.
During the three-day conference, young scientists will be given a stage to present their current research in a talk or poster. Like every year, the best contributions will be awarded by the audience. In addition to the scientific program, there will be plenty of room for personal exchange with scientists and potential future employers. Also, we will elect not one, but two new speakers of the DGMS Young Scientists this year!
The registration period for the Fall Meeting will start in April 2024. Register on our website, starting April 1st!

There is no registration fee for the conference. Room reservations at the Hünfeld Monastery will be arranged for you! All-day catering will be provided. The only costs that will be incurred for you are the accommodation costs in the monastery. These will be paid on site and will be in the amount of approximately 99 €.
Important:
Members of DGMS can apply for a travel allowance for the Fall Meeting in the members' area of the DGMS homepage as soon as they have received a commitment from us for their contribution. We will update you on the details over the course of the next weeks.
